We don’t get to decide how we get into heaven, God has already set His standards for admission. 1 John 5:9-12
However, we do get to decide how we get into hell, we choose the path that leads there.
September 25, 2018 was when I wrote those words down. They may not be earth shattering words, but they are a fact. Everyone wants to go to heaven, but not everyone wants to follow God’s protocol for getting there. After all, we all serve the same “god” and there are many paths, all we need to be is good people and follow the “light” whatever the light is. But God begs to differ. There’s only and will always be, ONE WAY. ONE LIGHT. JESUS!
You don’t believe for one second that God would send His Son to suffer as He did to be sidestepped do you? The only place we get to decide how we get in is HELL. That’s the place that requires little effort. No one wants to go there, but most are happily running towards it. Even as the warning signs and alarms are going off. You can’t deny the attractiveness. It seems as though the people headed there are having the most fun. But are they? The reason people buy into the lie is because as Christians we’re failing at demonstrating the joy of the Lord.
“Jesus explained, “I AM the Way, I AM the Truth, and I AM the Life. No one comes next to the Father except through union with Me. To know Me is to know My Father too.”

“In Him (Jesus) and through faith in Him (Jesus) we may approach God with freedom and confidence.”
Ephesians 3:12 NIV
“You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord, “and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe Me and understand that I Am He. Before Me no god was formed, nor will there be one after Me. I, even I, Am the Lord, and apart from Me there is no Savior.”
Isaiah 43:10-11 NIV
Can’t get any plainer than that. The choice to believe or not is ours . Jesus said of those choosing not to believe His claim of being the Son of God:
“There is no judgment against anyone who believes in Him. But anyone who does not believe in Him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son. And the judgment is based on this fact: God’s Light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil.”
John 3:18-19 NLT
Unbelievers have already been judged. That’s why our role as ambassadors for Christ is not one of condemning, but one of grace and compassion. Sharing readily the good news about Jesus, because we were at one point in our lives destined to a life of eternal separation from God. Understanding this truth, we don’t get to decide who’s saved and not. The personal decision of every human being is their own judgement. Notice how Jesus addressed the religious and non religious throughout the gospels. I’ve written at length about this before. We can’t send people to hell or heaven, but we don’t get to change God’s Word to suit how they get there. The Lord is very clear on what His requirements are.
So which road are you on? His or yours? The Bible says choose the narrow road. This one way road leads to eternal life. The broad road with all its many ways, leads to eternal death.
“You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.”
Matthew 7:13-14 NLT
I know this isn’t a feel good subject. And most preachers avoid it. But it’s just as important as messages on abundance, healing and blessings. What is to be gained by being deceived into thinking that everyone is going to heaven when everyone has not accepted God’s way of getting there. There’s no penance in the grave. There’s no praying you out of purgatory. The time to choose is now. Every day you’re given is an opportunity to do things His way. What are you doing with your todays? It is not the Father’s will or desire that anyone perishes. He wants all of us to be with Him. But only by believing that Jesus Christ is the way will that ever be possible.
What are you standing on? What do you believe? Your judgement and condemnation rests solely with you. The choice is yours to make. And it’s a simple one. By believing in Jesus Christ, you’ll pass from death to life.
“I tell you the truth, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent Me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life.”
John 5:24 NLT
No Jesus, no heaven. His way or the high way. This is not my opinion as you can see by the scriptures I’ve shared, and there are many more. To be forewarned is to be forearmed. If I neglected to warn you, your blood would be required at my hand. I won’t have that. We cannot ignore God’s Word and expect that at the end of our lives we just waltz into heaven. Hell is as real as the nose on our faces. Heaven is just as real. But without Jesus as the entrance way, We don’t stand a chance of getting there. The ball is now in your court. What is your decision? 🙏
“Jesus shouted to the crowds, “If you trust Me, you are trusting not only Me, but also God who sent Me. For when you see Me, you are seeing the One who sent Me. I have come as a light to shine in this dark world, so that all who put their trust in Me will no longer remain in the dark. I will not judge those who hear Me but don’t obey Me, for I have come to save the world and not to judge it. But all who reject Me and My message will be judged on the day of judgment by the truth I have spoken. I don’t speak on My own authority. The Father who sent Me has commanded Me what to say and how to say it. And I know His commands lead to eternal life; so I say whatever the Father tells Me to say.”

Jesus prayed:
“So with deep love, I pray for My disciples. I’m not asking on behalf of the unbelieving world, but for those who belong to You, those You have given Me. For all who belong to Me now belong to You. And all who belong to You now belong to Me as well, and My glory is revealed through their surrendered lives.”
