Have you experienced the kisses of heaven? Some of you may be going “huh?” But if you are born from above then you most certainly have. We have been Son kissed. When God sent His only Son to a perverse and crooked world, we experienced His kiss. When you received salvation, healing, provision, love, joy, peace, grace and mercy, you experienced the Kiss of heaven. You just didn’t receive it in that way. But they were and are kisses of heaven.
The first kiss is what I eluded to earlier.
“For this is how much God loved the world—he gave his one and only, unique Son as a gift. So now everyone who believes in him will never perish but experience everlasting life.”
John 3:16
Here’s another kiss: “Now, who of us would dare to die for the sake of a wicked person? We can all understand if someone was willing to die for a truly noble person. But Christ proved God’s passionate love for us by dying in our place while we were still lost and ungodly! And there is still much more to say of his unfailing love for us! For through the blood of Jesus we have heard the powerful declaration, “You are now righteous in my sight.” And because of the sacrifice of Jesus, you will never experience the wrath of God. So if while we were still enemies, God fully reconciled us to Himself through the death of His Son, then something greater than friendship is ours. Now that we are at peace with God, and because we share in His resurrection life, how much more we will be rescued from sin’s dominion!”
Romans 5:7-10 TPT
And another: “For I will do whatever you ask me to do when you ask me in my name. And that is how the Son will show what the Father is really like and bring glory to him. Ask me anything in my name, and I will do it for you!”
John 14:13-14 TPT
And another: “You must serve only the Lord your God. If you do, I will bless you with food and water, and I will protect you from illness. There will be no miscarriages or infertility in your land, and I will give you long, full lives.”
Exodus 23:25-26 NLT
Wait, there’s more: “Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”
Matthew 11:28-30 NLT
Are you feeling His kisses yet? There’s more so pucker up!
“For your Creator will be your husband; the Lord of Heaven’s Armies is His Name! He is your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, the God of all the earth.”
Isaiah 54:5 NLT
“There’s still more?!” you’re asking? Yup. I haven’t even scratched the surface.
“This is love: He loved us long before we loved Him. It was His love, not ours. He proved it by sending His Son to be the pleasing sacrificial offering to take away our sins.”
1 John 4:10 TPT
“I will answer your cry for help every time you pray, and you will find and feel My presence even in your time of pressure and trouble. I will be your glorious hero and give you a feast.”
Psalms 91:15 TPT
And the greatest kiss of all is this promise:
“As they strained to see him rising into heaven, two white-robed men suddenly stood among them. “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why are you standing here staring into heaven? Jesus has been taken from you into heaven, but someday He will return from heaven in the same way you saw Him go!”
Acts of the Apostles 1:10-11 NLT
The kisses never stop. He ensured it before He left by sending us His Holy Spirit. (See John 14 and Acts 2) The Spirit of truth who constantly reminds us of His promises. We remain steadfast in hope, a hope that never disappoints. One day soon we will be reunited with the One who sends us kisses from heaven. We’ll see Him face to face and like John the apostle before us, we’ll lay our heads on His breast and receive forever more the kisses of His embrace. Hallelujah! To God be the glory!
Good morning Abba, good morning Jesus, good morning Holy Spirit! This is how I begin and end my day. He awakens me like a flower in the sun. And rocks me to sleep with the kisses of His embrace. Who or what shall I fear? Let Him rejoice over you! Receive the kisses of heaven.🥰🙏
Go quietly now and cry out to Him. Pour your love on Him like fragrant perfume. Wash His feet with your tears, and dry them with your kisses. Love on the Lover of your souls. There’s no sadness in His presence only love. Go on now, Heaven’s waiting...
