“Before she was in labor, she gave birth; Before her pain came, She delivered a male child. Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion was in labor, She gave birth to her children. Shall I bring to the time of birth, and not cause delivery?” says the Lord. “Shall I who cause delivery shut up the womb?” says your God.”Isaiah 66:7-9 NKJV
“But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” 2 Peter 3:8 NKJV
What constitutes a day? Is it twenty four hours or is it suddenly? It all depends on whose time you’re living your life by. If it’s Kronos then you’re governed by the earthly time table, but if you’re living by God’s timetable then we’re living lives of suddenlies. Whenever God speaks He doesn’t hesitate there’s no pause. He already knows what has happened before it does. By the time we catch on it’s yesterday’s news. God doesn’t waste time. It’s valuable to Him. He’s constantly creating. When Moses wrote in Genesis that He rested, he wasn’t implying that God was tired, but rather that He was finished with that particular project. He’s busy in millions of wombs, creating is His passion. But what gives Him even greater excitement is birthing His masterpieces. Have you looked at yourself in the mirror through His eyes lately? You should.
My daughter is expecting my first grandchild and I cannot wait to see what the ATeam has created. Yes, the ATeam: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. If those fighting for the right to abort their babies would stop to consider who they’re murdering, they’d be eager to bring the masterpiece to birth. God has already purposed in His mind to bless them and us before we were ever born. How can I be so sure? Because of the verses I have shared and many others like them. For example,
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV
“No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days.”
Exodus 23:26 NKJV
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”Jeremiah 1:5 NKJV
“You’ve gone into my future to prepare the way, and in kindness You follow behind me to spare me from the harm of my past. You have laid Your hand on me! You formed my innermost being, shaping my delicate inside and my intricate outside, and wove them all together in my mother’s womb. You even formed every bone in my body when You created me in the secret place; carefully, skillfully You shaped me from nothing to something. You saw who You created me to be before I became me! Before I’d ever seen the light of day, the number of days You planned for me were already recorded in Your book. Every single moment You are thinking of me! How precious and wonderful to consider that You cherish me constantly in Your every thought! O God, Your desires toward me are more than the grains of sand on every shore! When I awake each morning, You’re still with me.”Psalms 139:5, 13, 15-18 TPT
Those verses I highlighted in Psalms 139 get me by my heart strings every time. I don’t know about you, but if someone went to such lengths to make sure not one detail was missed concerning me, I can trust every word He says. He has a plan and purpose for my life because He was intentional about my creation and formation. He has purposed in His heart to bless my life before I was a thought in my parents mind and even before they were born. Now that’s mind blowing!
I choose to believe the suddenlies of God. He gave me those verses in Isaiah 66 after He chose my inheritance for me. It’s amazing to think that everything He has promised will manifest in one day. But when you think about it, everything in our lives is happening in a day. But it’s all so seamlessly done that we often miss it. You’ve been waiting for a mate; then one day. You’ve been waiting to get a call back about whatever; Then one day. You’ve been waiting to own your first home; Then one day. You’re pregnant for an eternity; Lol then one day. But the difference between our day and what God does is suddenlies. That’s why even though we’ve been waiting in faith it still blows our minds. Because His suddenlies are beyond our human efforts to achieve. It’s God or bust! It’s what Paul writes about in Ephesians 3:20-21 and the psalmist in the verse below.
“He’s marked out our inheritance ahead of time, putting us in the front of the line, honoring Jacob, the one He loves. Pause in His presence”Psalms 47:4 TPT
Yup! Pause and think about that. He has determined and purposed in His mind to bless us and no purpose of His can be withheld from Him. No devil in hell can stop what God intends to do for us. We just don’t know the God we serve! Job said those words after God had asked him a series of questions that he couldn’t answer. When we get to know this God we claim to serve, suddenlies will be normal occurrences in our lives. I’m ready for some suddenlies how about you?
I can’t get over the revelation I’ve received today. I knew it, but now I know it! I expect it hallelujah! Read that first scripture again, then pause in His presence and allow it to marinate a bit. We read too fast. The Word of God is like fine dining. You must taste every morsel. Put your spiritual tastebuds to work for a change. Let your sanctified imagination go buck wild. Job got a revelation and I have caught it. I know that You can do everything (not anything) there’s a difference in those words. Because God cannot lie, that’s anything, He cannot deny Himself, that’s anything, He will not change what He’s said or alter it, that’s anything. But He watches over every word He speaks and brings it to pass. That’s everything. Because that’s His purposed Word. And nothing He has purposed to do can be withheld from Him. Glory hallelujah! Did you taste that? No wonder the Psalmist wrote;
“Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!”Psalms 34:8 NKJV
Are you that man who trusts in His suddenlies? Then you’re blessed! This is how blessed you are.
“Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country. “Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks. “Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl. “Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out. “The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways. “The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you. “The Lord will establish you as a holy people to Himself, just as He has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of the Lord your God and walk in His ways. Then all peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the Name of the Lord, and they shall be afraid of you. And the Lord will grant you plenty of goods, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your ground, in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give you. The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them.”
Deuteronomy 28:3-13 NKJV
These are the suddenlies that are purposed in the mind of God for us. Live with expectancy, live with anticipation for all He has promised to do in one day, If we will not turn to the left or right to serve other gods. I’m not speaking of backsliding here, but the gods of worry and anxiety. He has promised, will He not perform it? Shall He bring you to the time of birth, and not cause delivery? Shall He who causes delivery shut the womb? NEVER! Not the God I serve. So rejoice because your day for delivery is here! Won’t He do it in a day? Yes He will!
