“Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean He no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? (As the Scriptures say, “For Your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.” ) No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

There’s no separation anxiety in God’s family. No matter what you may believe, or have been erroneously taught- NOTHING can or will ever be able to separate you(us) from God’s love. This love, when received, eradicates all anxieties and feelings of abandonment. We are loved with an everlasting love, unsolicited and unconditionally. Listen to how deeply He loves and cares for us.
“And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because He has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with His love. When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.”
Romans 5:5-8
Let that sink in for a minute. Close your eyes and meditate on the fact that, while you were still doing you, making an utter mess of your life, Christ died for you! How mind blowingly awesome and amazing is that! There is no probability of that ever not being the case. He loved us before we ever thought of Him. And it gets even more intense when we receive Jesus as Lord. When we love Him because He first loved us. 1 John 4:19
If you keep watching the news and listening to the nay sayers, you may start to think that God has abandoned us, NEVER! He is as close as your next breath. Go ahead, take a deep breath and exhale. That’s Him, that’s how close He always is, and always will be. The sin you may have committed last night was not enough to change His undying love for you. Don’t run away, turn around slowly because you’re likely to run right into Him. Waiting always with open arms of mercy and forgiveness. Isn’t He so sweet and yummy? No wonder David declared these words. “ O Taste and see, that the Lord is good.” Psalm 34:8 yummy indeed!
You are highly favored and deeply loved by your Heavenly Father. With Jesus at His right hand forever interceding for us, and His Holy Spirit resident in us, we are thrice kept. The probability of us ever being separated from His love is highly improbable. It’s impossible! This is why so many struggle with this truth. They compare human love with God’s pure unadulterated love. No fickleness here. This is the real deal. The best offer you’ll ever receive. Plunge into the river of His love. Cast all inhibitions aside. You’ll never find a love like His anywhere in anyone.
Sit back and enjoy this beautiful reminder of His closeness to you. Then go break your alabaster box and pour you love on Him like Mary’s costly perfume🙏
