“Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see. Through their faith, the people in days of old earned a good reputation. By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.”
Hebrews 11:1-3 NLT
“All these people earned a good reputation because of their faith, yet none of them received all that God had promised.”
Hebrews 11:39 NLT
“Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
Then God said, “Let there be a space between the waters, to separate the waters of the heavens from the waters of the earth.”
Then God said, “Let the waters beneath the sky flow together into one place, so dry ground may appear.” And that is what happened.
Then God said, “Let lights appear in the sky to separate the day from the night. Let them be signs to mark the seasons, days, and years.
Then God said, “Let the waters swarm with fish and other life. Let the skies be filled with birds of every kind.”
Then God said, “Let the earth produce every sort of animal, each producing offspring of the same kind—livestock, small animals that scurry along the ground, and wild animals.” And that is what happened.
Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.”
Genesis 1:3, 6, 9, 14, 20, 24, 26 NLT
Have you learned the language of heaven? Are you walking in it? It’s the only language God responds to. Wherever He finds it, miracles, signs and wonders happens. What is that language some may be asking? The language is FAITH. Without it we can’t please God, as a matter of fact, the Bible says it’s IMPOSSIBLE to please Him without it.
Everything that exists according to the writer of Hebrews, was formed or created by faith. When God said let there be, do you think He wondered if what He said would happen? He spoke and moved on to the next thing on His list. When Jesus cursed the fig tree, He didn’t stand around to see if it would dry up, He kept going. The language of heaven dried the roots up at the very moment He commanded it to.
What language have you been speaking lately? Has it been the language of doubt, fear and unbelief? Doubt is a language and it’s just as productive as faith. It produces the opposite results of the language of heaven. Have you been making excuses for your doubts? Have you been confessing what you cannot afford to not do and why? Have you rejected the things that God has spoken about your life, and embraced the unregenerate mindset?
The Bible say we are to be imitators of God as beloved children. Ephesians 5:1. To imitate means to mimic, to do what He does, to act like Him. There is no doubting in God. We are to speak His language. Our words should carry the same authority and power as His. We should be seeing results every time we speak in heaven’s language. Everything God told to be, became. Everything Jesus spoke to obeyed His Word. We are His imitators.
Hebrews 11 says by faith they all obtained a good report. They died without receiving what they believed for, so that we would all partake of what faith produces together. Hebrews 11:39-40 they saw by faith what we’re experiencing today, if indeed we are speaking the language of heaven. To listen to most Christians today, you’d think Jesus never came, and the earth is still void. What does the unsaved hear when they listen to our conversations? What are they seeing in our actions? Have we made our God and Savior real to them? Do they want to know Him by observing us? Are we good mimickers of God? Thinking of your life today, what level are you currently speaking at in your heavenly language?
Something else that the language of heaven produces is praise. What is praise? Is it a song we sing? Actually it’s not. It’s an outflow of gratitude to God for who He is, more than for what He does. Faith praises before the manifestation. Read Hebrews 11 again. God praised Himself after He had completed His work, He said “it was very good!” We offer praise to Him through Christ, for all He’s done, is doing, and what He’ll do in the future. There are things we’ve asked for in the language of heaven, that is in our future, but we see it as done because we accept the Now factor of faith.
As we purpose in our hearts to speak the languages God approves and understands, may we find the joy that the believers before us knew. The willingness to take God at His Word and walk by faith and not by sight. May we speak with faith and confidence His Word, and experience the manifestation of what we hope for. Words have consequences. Choose life words, commit to doing what pleases Him. Negative Words will always cost us something. We’re not suffering from a lack of good preaching/teaching in God’s Word, what we’re suffering from is a lack of believing and acting upon His Word. So does God understand your language? Were He to answer you based on what you’ve been speaking, would you be better off? We are our words, we are what we believe and speak. Change course, if you need to, begin speaking the language of heaven and watch your life be transformed.
I hear some doubters in the spirit saying. “It’s easier said than done” really? You live or die by your words. Speaking faith filled words is a choice. He’s not going to speak for you, no more than I can eat for you and you receive nourishment. Choose life, God told Israel, and He’s offering you the same choice today. Speak His language and watch Him move.
