9/1/21-IT’S TIME FOR YOUR GIANTS TO FALL!

Get ready to be undone. Completely and totally undone- wrecked by My outrageous love that is being released in your life. You will be amazed by what I’m about to do for you. It’s time for your giants to fall! I hear His Whisper.

The dictionary describes a giant as an imaginary or mythical figure of human form. If it’s mythical then how is it human?🤔 Simply put, a giant is anything or anyone who has control over our lives. And the Lord says it’s time for them to fall! Unless of course you’d rather keep them around as pets. See morning messages from May 7, 2021.

What has been looming larger than life and has you worried, anxious and fearful? Who or what has you over a barrel? Debt, sickness, loneliness, discouragement, marital problems, relational problems, employment problems, sexual and drug addiction problems, alcoholism, whatever face or name your giant has is irrelevant to your Deliverer, and He says it’s time for them to fall. Haven’t you had enough of the same endless cycle? Don’t you want real lasting change? There’s an answer and solution for every problem. As a matter of fact the answer was available before there ever was a problem.

Jesus paid our sin debt before the world was created. Revelation 13:8 In the foreknowledge of God, every problem was solved in His Son. Every debt reconciled, every disease healed. Goliath taunted Israel’s army until a giant slayer showed up. Because they’re too big to miss, we have the upper hand. When a disease hides out in the human body it remains elusive until it’s discovered and dealt with. The same scenario applies to underlying issues, if we refuse to identify the areas of struggle and deal with them as we would an enemy intruder, they become giants. No problem generally starts out as a giant. A leak isn’t a flood, unless it’s ignored. Most of us didn’t start life in debt, we accrued it over time. Choosing to keep spending money we didn’t have through credit. Cancer has stages, we ignore the little warning signs and before you know it, it’s stage four. Addiction starts with one sip, one cigarette or drug of choice, sin started with a bite. Giants aren’t born giants; they flourish over time. Goliath was big but he was all talk. One person talked back: David.

Are you ready to talk back to your giant, or are you going to keep succumbing to his looming size? God wants to help you defeat whatever or whoever your giant is. Are you ready to watch him fall? Let’s dive into the Word of God for some reinforcement. We’re destined to win. We only need the right approach and response. It’s no easy feat but we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Philippians 4:13. He will provide all the help you need to bring your giants down. But He’ll need your cooperation. He won’t take over what’s not yielded to Him. Let’s begin in a familiar Psalm.

Let all that I am praise the Lord; with my whole heart, I will praise His holy name. Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things He does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies. He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle’s! The Lord gives righteousness and justice to all who are treated unfairly. He revealed His character to Moses and His deeds to the people of Israel. The Lord is compassionate and merciful, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. He will not constantly accuse us, nor remain angry forever. He does not punish us for all our sins; He does not deal harshly with us, as we deserve. For His unfailing love toward those who fear Him is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth. He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west. The Lord is like a father to His children, tender and compassionate to those who fear Him.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭103:1-13‬ ‭NLT‬‬

If I don’t share another scripture, this one covers everything. Wouldn’t you agree? All means everything. Nothing excluded. Let’s keep reading.

But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.”

‭‭1 John‬ ‭4:4‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don’t get tied up again in slavery to the law.”

‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:1‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“For You are my hiding place; You protect me from trouble. You surround me with songs of victory. Interlude The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭32:7-8‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“I prayed to the Lord, and He answered me. He freed me from all my fears. Those who look to Him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces. In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened; He saved me from all my troubles. For the angel of the Lord is a guard; He surrounds and defends all who fear Him .”

“Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in Him! Fear the Lord, you his godly people, for those who fear Him will have all they need. Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the Lord will lack no good thing.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭34:4-10 ‭NLT‬‬

“When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭43:2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments.”

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭10:4‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“He sang: “The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety. He is my refuge, my savior, the one who saves me from violence. I called on the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and He saved me from my enemies. “The waves of death overwhelmed me; floods of destruction swept over me. The grave wrapped its ropes around me; death laid a trap in my path. But in my distress I cried out to the Lord; yes, I cried to my God for help. He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry reached His ears. “He reached down from heaven and rescued me; He drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemies, from those who hated me and were too strong for me. They attacked me at a moment when I was in distress, but the Lord supported me. He led me to a place of safety; He rescued me because He delights in me. “To the faithful you show yourself faithful; to those with integrity you show integrity. To the pure you show yourself pure, but to the crooked you show yourself shrewd. O Lord, you are my lamp. The Lord lights up my darkness. In your strength I can crush an army; with my God I can scale any wall. “God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to Him for protection.”

‭‭2 Samuel‬ ‭22:2-7, 17-20, 26-27, 29-31‬ ‭NLT‬‬

There you have it. You don’t need to fear the looming giants anymore. The Giant slayer is resident within you, around you, behind you, before you and beside you. The only question that remains is are you ready for them to fall? Are you ready to be free from oppressive behaviors? Are you ready to embrace divine health? Are you ready to follow His plan for financial success? Are you ready to break old habits and mindsets? Are you ready to face your giants? Take the first step towards your total freedom, it begins with a submitted life to the Lord Jesus Christ. You cannot overcome giants without Him. David showed us the way to defeat him. We run towards him with the Sword of the Spirit. Let’s read and I’ll close.

“Goliath walked out toward David with his shield bearer ahead of him, sneering in contempt at this ruddy-faced boy. “Am I a dog,” he roared at David, “that you come at me with a stick?” And he cursed David by the names of his gods. David replied to the Philistine, “You come to me with sword, spear, and javelin, but I come to you in the Name of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies—the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. Today the Lord will conquer you, and I will kill you and cut off your head. And then I will give the dead bodies of your men to the birds and wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel! And everyone assembled here will know that the Lord rescues His people, but not with sword and spear. This is the Lord’s battle, and He will give you to us!”

‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭17:41-43, 45-47‬ ‭NLT‬‬

When giants fall the world takes notice. Those who have watched to see how we’ll handle the giants that come against us will bear witness to the Lord giving us certain victory over them all. Our help, all of our help comes from the Lord. It’s time for our giants to fall.
